FISB refers Siddhartha for LIC chief
The Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB), the headhunter for top officials of state-owned banks and financial institutions, has recommended the name of Siddhartha Mohanty to be the next chairperson of LIC.

Mumbai: The Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB), the headhunter for top officials of state-owned banks and financial institutions, has recommended the name of Siddhartha Mohanty to be the next chairperson of LIC. Mohanty, one of the four serving MDs at the Corporation, is currently having an additional charge of acting chairperson of LIC.
The 6-member panel FSIB is headed by Bhanu Pratap Sharma, former secretary of DoPT, interviewed four MDs of LIC virtually to select a new chairman of the Corporation on March 23. Bizz Buzz had already mentioned about it in its front page story, which appeared in the newspaper, dated 2-3-2023.
The four MDs, who appeared in the interview include Siddhartha Mohanty, Mini Ipe, BC Patnaik and M Jagannath.
